Confirmation of Price
When buying from Discount Bullion LLC, all transactions are locked in at the time of purchase or sale, and your order cannot be canceled once we have issued a confirmation number.
Market Loss Policy
When purchasing from Discount Bullion LLC, you are immediately issued a confirmation number, which is a binding agreement locking your transaction in with our trade desk. This confirms the transaction as well as the prices agreed upon by both parties, and it cannot be canceled once confirmed. If you default on the transaction, we reserve the right to recover any losses we incur due to any changes in spot prices and product premiums, as well as a $39.50 cancellation fee.
Any market fluctuation in the price of the product from the time you confirm until you cancel is your liability. You will be responsible for compensating the cost of any losses obtained during this period.
It is important to understand and agree that any market gain on cancellations shall remain the property of Discount Bullion LLC and cannot be used to offset the $39.50 cancellation fee.
Payment Options
We accept ACH and Credit Cards as means of payment for online trades.
Sales Tax
When you purchase gold and silver bullion from Discount Bullion LLC, in some cases, you are required to pay a local sales tax on your purchase. The local sales tax rate is calculated based on the address where we will be shipping the products. (It may be different from your home address)
Cancellation of Orders
When buying, all prices are locked in once we have issued a confirmation number. All transactions are final. We also reserve the right to cancel any orders when the confirmed price is incorrect for any reason.
Return Policy
Your satisfaction is important to us, so we make returns an easy and safe process. Qualifying orders may be returned for exchange. Bullion may not be returned. Numismatics may only be returned or exchanged if specified during the confirmation, or otherwise it is assumed there are no return privileges. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) privileges must be requested within 48 hours of receipt. Returns must be received at our facility within 7 business days after issuing an RMA confirmation. Our receiving department cannot process returned products that are received without an RMA. Please contact us to request an RMA. Please allow 24–72 hours to process your request.
Shipping Details
We may ship the entire order in one or multiple boxes on the same or separate days. Your order may come from one or more of our vaulting locations. This determination is made by our operations department based on your order size, value, weight, and variety. Our supply chain is designed to deliver your product safely and quickly to your hands at the lowest possible cost. We promise to keep you updated with shipping information throughout the process.
All shipments from Discount Bullion LLC are covered under our shipping insurance policy. In the unlikely event there is a problem with your shipment during transit, we will work with you to ensure you receive the products you ordered. However, we will not accept responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages if you or your customer have 1) left instructions with any carriers or delivery service to leave parcels unattended, 2) requested to waive the required signature, and/or 3) advised any delivery personnel to leave your package with someone else other than who is listed on the shipping address, such as a building manager, neighbor, or drop-off location.
If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, it is extremely important that you contact Discount Bullion LLC immediately.
In the unlikely event that a package has not been delivered, we will not be able to refund or reship the purchased product until the appropriate carrier has notified us in writing that the package has been declared lost and/or stolen. At that point in time, we will, in our sole discretion, either replace the original product or refund the full purchase price.
Shipping Cost
There is a $24 shipping and handling charge for the standard shipping of our choice. Your order will ship within one business day after funds have cleared for in stock purchases.
HI, AK, and US Territories: Some exclusions and exceptions apply.
Methods of Shipping
In order to provide our customers with competitive prices, we determine the fastest and most cost-effective method for delivery after your order is submitted.
Our preferred shipping service is UPS. Most silver orders will ship UPS Ground, while most gold, platinum and palladium orders will ship UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Saver. All shipments are fully insured.
Tracking & Deliver
You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. Please allow 2–7 business days for delivery. If you have not received your order, please log into your account and check your order status. Some products take longer to ship than others. Depending on the order, some orders may be held until items with longer shipping times are ready to ship. Your order may be shipped in one or more packages, and all packages may not ship the same day.
Discreet Packaging
All shipments are packaged inconspicuously and will never reference our company name or anything referring to items of value, such as gold, silver, bullion, etc.
All shipments, regardless of size, are covered by our insurance policy. In the rare event your shipment is lost or damaged, we will refund your money or re-ship your items at our discretion.
If your item is lost in the mail or arrives in damaged condition, you must contact us immediately. For damaged packages, we must be notified within two business days after delivery, and all contents and packaging materials (including the outer box and inner packing material) must be held for inspection.
Please note that we cannot be responsible for your package if you leave instructions for the delivery personnel to leave the package unattended, with a doorman, neighbor, or signed for by an employee at a rented mailbox such as the UPS store. Such requests void our insurance.
It is our responsibility to file a claim with our insurance company if we deem the package to have been lost or damaged during transit.
A signature is required on all packages over $750.
